Tourism

One in ten of all working New Zealanders are employed in the tourism industry. With over two million tourists visiting Aotearoa New Zealand each year, the demand for professional tourism industry workers is increasing. WelTec’s tourism programmes will equip you for a career in this fast paced industry and give you opportunities to work around the world.

WelTec’s Certificates in Tourism are relevant, practical and exciting with learning opportunities taking place outside as well as inside the class room. You will be able to take part in our class field trips which let you experience New Zealand tourist attractions first-hand and prepare you for a career in tourism and travel.

Learning takes place in a supportive environment with our highly qualified tutors who are experienced industry professionals. You will be able to gain internationally recognised qualifications.
