Kirsten Blyde
Tutor

Kirsten has a background in mental health nursing most recently for Hutt Valley Hospital, and is loving the new challenges of working within the field of adult education. 
 
Qualifications:

Bronwyn Jones
Tutor 

Bronwyn is a qualified educator, counsellor and addiction specialist who has worked for over 25 years in the education and health system. She has a Master of Education (Distinct), Bachelor of Education and Diploma in Tertiary Teaching.  Her clinical qualifications include counselling and addiction undergraduate and post-graduate certificates. Bronwyn also has a wealth of experience working as a tertiary teacher, counsellor and addiction clinician in various government and community settings.

M. Ed (distinction), Bach Ed, Dip Tertiary Teaching

Debbie Turner
Administrator

Debbie has over 20 years in the office administration/ secretarial field and has worked within a diverse range of companies. She is currently working part-time within the Centre for Health and Well Being and will be the frontline person to answer any questions students may have.

Marylou Sloane
Acting Team Manager Social Services & Sector Engagement

Marylou is a registered comprehensive nurse who has worked for over 25 years in the health system. She trained initially as a psychopeadic nurse working in both psychopeadic and psychiatric settings before obtaining her general and obstetric qualifications. She has continued her education with working towards her masters degree in health science at Otago University specialising in addictions. In recent years Marylou has specialised in mental health nursing and education with a primary focus in addictions.
