This programme focuses on providing you with the skills to produce websites that match and enhance business processes, including e-commerce. You will learn how to set up scripts and databases and build web templates.
Programme content
The programme is made up of three core courses and an elective course from the Bachelor of Information Technology. The Core papers are IT6261 E-commerce Website Application Development, IT6262 Website Scripting Foundation & IT5176 Website Media and the Elective papers you choose from IT6276 Web Technology Integration and IT7381 Rich Internet Applications

Entry requirements
You will need to have completed Year One of the Bachelor of Information Technology, or have equivalent personal, practical, professional or educational experience.
If you are 20 years of age or older at the time you start your studies, you are entitled to apply to WelTec under special admission criteria. If English is your second language, a minimum academic IELTS score of 6.0 (with no less than 5.5 in reading and writing) or equivalent is required.
