This professionally orientated programme is designed for those interested in management and supervisory roles within the hospitality industry. The Certificate in Food and Beverage Service (level 4) builds on the knowledge and skills already gained in the Level 3 programme, while giving you hands-on restaurant management experience.

You will work gain industry insight while you work with real customers in WelTec’s purpose built central city training restaurant. Our tutors and unique industry partners are highly experienced in current hospitality trends and will help you to build your knowledge of wine and beverages. You will also be given the opportunity to learn about billing procedures and expand your table and silver service skills.

Entry requirements
To enter into this programme you will need to have successfully completed WelTec’s Certificate in Food and Beverage Service (Level 3) or the City and Guilds Certificate in Food and Beverage Service, or an equivalent qualification. Applicants currently working in the industry with a minimum of six months experience are welcome to apply. For applicants who have English as a second language, a minimum IELTS score of 5.5 or equivalent is required.

Further Study Options
After you complete the Certificate in Food and Beverage Service (Level 4), you can then choose to enrol in the Diploma in Hospitality Operations Supervision (Level 5).
