Develop a wide range of skills to prepare yourself for employment in the film and television industry. You will gain the skills and knowledge required to perform advanced makeup and hairstyling, special effects, elementary wig and prosthetic applications, facial trimming, and an introduction to body painting.

Entry requirements
Applicants for this course must have either successfully completed WelTec’s Certificate in Fashion and Makeup Artistry (Level 3) or be currently working in the fashion make-up artistry industry, with a minimum of 6 months work experience.
Where will it take me?
Graduates can enter into an unsupervised position within the makeup artistry industry. Employment opportunities include positions as a makeup artist in makeup houses, television, stage and film productions, and photography shoots; or self employment as a freelance makeup artist.
