This programme teaches you how to use Solidworks Mechanical Design Automation software to build parametric models of parts and assemblies and how to convert them into drawings.
Each class is planned to expose participants to the important features of the software in an order designed to enable progressive development of skills.
Our CAD laboratory is equipped with a data projector and 20 workstations, each consisting of a Silicon Intel P4 computer, 19 inch LCD monitor, and mouse. The latest version of Solidworks CAD software is installed.
A basic understanding of the mechanical design process and experience with the Microsoft Windows operating system.
