Begin your career with a Certificate in Tiling (Level 2).  This short course provides a solid introduction into tiling and will equip you with real skills to allow you to step into the industry and apply your knowledge.  Learn about tiling techniques and design and put the theory into practice in our purpose-built workshops.

Entry requirements
To enter this programme you will need to achieve the literacy and numeracy requirements for NCEA Level 1 with a minimum of 8 credits in literacy and 8 credits in numeracy.

If English is your second language, a minimum IELTS score of 5.5 or equivalent is required, with no less than 5.0 in reading and writing.

If you are 20 years of age or older at the time you start your studies, you are entitled to special admission to WelTec.

Where will it take me?
Employment opportunities include apprenticeship or employment within the brick and tiling industry leading to master tradesperson or masonry contractor.
