Begin your career with the Certificate in Paving.  This short course provides a solid introduction into paving and will equip you with practical skills to allow you to step into the industry and apply your knowledge.

Duration, start dates and location 
Programmes commence in October and runs for 5 weeks full-time at the Petone Campus. 

Entry requirements
12 NCEA Level 1 credits each in literacy and numeracy or equivalent knowledge/experience. 

Applicants 20 years of age or older are welcome to apply.

For applicants who have English as a second language, a minimum IELTS score of 5.5 or equivalent is required.

Where will it take me?
Employment opportunities include apprenticeship or employment within the brick and paving industry leading to master tradesperson or masonry contractor.
