Continue your carpentry training and gain credit for the first year of a cadetship with the Intermediate Certificate in Carpentry (Level 4). Designed for those who have completed WelTec’s Certificate in Pre-Trade Carpentry or for those who have enrolled in the Certificate in Carpentry (Carpentry Cadetship) (Level 4) who have yet to secure full-time employment in the building industry. A flexible programme, delivered over 2.5 days per week on WelTec’s building site with a theory class in the evenings, you will be able to work towards unit standards required in the Certificate in Carpentry (Carpentry Cadetship) and transfer into the Cadetship programme should you gain full-time employment in the industry.

Entry requirements
To enter into this programme you will need to have completed the Certificate in Carpentry or have started (but not completed) the Certificate in Carpentry (Carpentry Cadetship) (Level 4) programme.
