If you want to develop your career in construction, then the Certificate in Carpentry is for you. The carpentry cadetship programme is an NZQA accredited programme that will allow you to fulfil the requirements for the National Certificate in Carpentry (Level 4). Our flexible learning options include practical tutorials, workshop instruction and regular on-site assessment by WelTec Carpentry tutors.

Entry requirements
Full-time employment. 

For applicants who have English as a second language, a minimum IELTS score of 5.5 or equivalent is required.

Where will it take me?
Opportunities exist for graduates to work as a Carpenter, self employed builder, industry representative or industry instructor. From here you may progress on to construction leading hand/supervisor/foreman, site manager and/or project manager.
