Designed for those interested in the electrical or electronics field within the automotive industry, this programme includes a mixture of theory and practical hands-on experience to ensure you get all the right skills to work effectively in the automotive industry.

  • National Certificate in Motor Industry (Entry Skills) (Level 2)
  • National Certificate in Motor Industry (Automotive Electrical Engineering) (Level 4)

Work experience
You will be required to complete 400 hours of work experience during the first two years in addition to the 24 hours per week attendance at WelTec. 

Part-time study (Year 3)
Students study theory through the use of Distance Learning packages and attendance at night classes. WelTec will provide block courses for practical work.
