Streamlined Visa Processing
Update from WelTec - Export Education Industry Partnership Pilot (IPP)
Immigration New Zealand has informed us that the Minister of Immigration has agreed that the IPP be replaced with a new outcomes-based partnership model. Details of this model will be released at a later date. The announcement from the Minister can be seen here.
INZ have also confirmed that the Pilot will be brought to an end.
What does this mean?
- WelTec may continue to issue nomination letters until 22 December 2015, when our office closes for the New Zealand Christmas holiday
- INZ will continue streamline processing on nominated applications until 01 February 2016.
This information will be included on any nomination letters we issue between 30 November and 22 December.
Please note WelTec International closes for the Christmas/New Year period on 22 December and reopens on 4 January 2016.
Industry partnership with Immigration New Zealand
Wellington Institute of Technology is one of just 25 New Zealand education providers invited to participate in the pilot phase of a new industry partnership initiative with Immigration New Zealand.
By entering into this partnership Wellington Institute of Technology will have the ability to nominate selected student visa applicants for streamlined processing by INZ and will take on increased responsibility for the immigration outcomes of these students.
